Story and photography by Holly Lane-Adreon

The Trefoil Society Luncheon for East Tennessee was held at The Press Room in Knoxville. Members of the community gathered together giving support and recognition to the impact that the Girl Scouts organization is making in our community. This nonprofit is focused on helping girls learn to discover their leadership potential and how to take action in their communities. The Trefoil Society Luncheon is centered around paying honor to distinguished women leaders who also uphold the traditions and embodiment of Girl Scouting. The 2025 Honoree for the East Tennessee region was University of Tennessee Chancellor Donde Plowman for her lifelong commitment to ethical and servant leadership.
