Knoxville Cycleboats Announces Launch

Launched September 2021, Knoxville Cycleboats offers a one-of-a-kind way for groups to enjoy Knoxville’s scenic riverfront during private cruises. Founded by Chicago entrepreneur Ron Silvia, Knoxville Cycleboats is the first out-of-state offshoot of parent company Chicago Electric Boat Company. Equipped with individual pedal stations and a motor assist for smooth sailing, Knoxville Cycleboats’ twenty-person vessel provides a fun and unique setting for nautical group outings on the water. Cruises are captained by a licensed professional and include a deckhand on board for assistance along with US Coast Guard-required safety gear. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy while cruising the river to a soundtrack of their choice courtesy of the boat’s user-friendly Bluetooth sound system. Knoxville Cycleboats launches from Volunteer Landing Marina. Cruises can be scheduled Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with special Tennessee Volunteer Football Game Day hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
