27th Annual Phillip Fulmer Golf Classic Sets Fundraising Record

The 27th Annual Phillip Fulmer Golf Classic raised a record-breaking $238,794 to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, marking the highest amount raised in the tournament’s 27-year history.

Held in support of the organization’s mission to serve youth across East Tennessee, proceeds from the event will benefit programs at 27 Boys & Girls Club locations in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Knox and Loudon counties.

This year’s tournament featured 38 teams competing in the annual event. The winning team was Cellular Sales, represented by Jeff Powers, Christian Tarman, Cecil Scarborough and John Mills.

“Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is incredibly thankful for the tremendous support shown through this year’s Phillip Fulmer Golf Classic,” said Bart McFadden, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. “The funds raised will help us continue impacting more than 8,400 young people across 27 Clubs in six counties. We are proud to partner with Phillip Fulmer and the VFL’s who make this event so special each year. We are grateful to every sponsor, volunteer and participant who helps us change lives across East Tennessee.”

The Phillip Fulmer Golf Classic has become one of the region’s most impactful annual fundraising events, bringing together community leaders, supporters, volunteers and former Tennessee athletes to invest in the future of local youth.
