Apex Vascular Expands, Welcomes Dr. Umashakar Ballehaninna to the Greater Knoxville Area



Apex Vascular proudly announces the addition of Dr. Umashankar Ballehaninna, a distinguished board-certified vascular surgeon, to its esteemed team. Dr. Ballehaninna, renowned as “Dr. B,” will begin seeing patients at Apex’s Tennova North Knoxville location starting April 1st, 2024.

Founded by vascular surgery expert, Dr. Christopher Pollock, Apex Vascular leads the region in comprehensive vascular and vein care, with locations in Lenoir City, Crossville, West Knoxville and North Knoxville.

Dr. Ballehaninna brings extensive expertise in both Vascular and General Surgery, accredited by the American Board of Surgery. Specializing in advanced endovascular skills for limb preservation, Dr. B addresses various vascular conditions, including carotid artery disease and aneurysmal diseases, offering a range of therapies for conditions like peripheral vascular disease, limb salvage and varicose veins.
