The Christman Company's Jeffrey Arlington Joins Knoxville Office

Jeffrey Arlington, vice president of operations for The Christman Company, has joined the company’s Knoxville office.

Arlington has more than 30 years of construction experience, is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional and holds a Health Care Construction Certificate from the American Society for Health Care Engineering. His portfolio of large-scale projects includes higher education, government, historic preservation, and hospitality. He has been with Christman for 23 years and served as a vice president for 10 years. Most recently, Arlington has overseen a large number of projects throughout Georgia.

“Jeff’s ability to connect with clients and build relationships is the cornerstone of his success,” said Marty Gibbs, vice president and general manager for The Christman Company’s operations in Knoxville. “He brings significant experience to our Knoxville team, including the ability to oversee complex projects in multiple fields.”

One of Arlington’s projects in Knoxville will be the $8.5 million renovation of the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum, which includes significant improvements for the Knoxville Ice Bears hockey team and its fans. He is particularly adept at overseeing high-profile projects at venues and buildings that must remain operational throughout construction.

Arlington graduated from Trine University, formerly known as Tri-State University, in Angola, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He has served on the Associated General Contractors (AGC) board of directors and is a member of several civic organizations, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

He lives in Farragut with his wife, Courtney, and children Cody, Taylor, Mackenzie and Sage.
