Since 2013, Marble City Opera has been Knoxville’s chamber opera company, bringing American chamber opera and innovative performances of traditional operas to new audiences in interesting venues. Marble City Opera welcomes new board members Michael Combs, Susie Allen, Marga McBride, Jacob Love, Frank Murphy, and Erin Reece. They join Mardel Fehrenbach, chair; Jerrold Becker, vice-chair; Kimberly Henry, secretary; Michelle Brewer, Joseph Trahern, James Marvel, Michael Torano, Holly Hambright, Chrissy Keuper, Peter Johnson, Sheena McCall, Tom Fine, Patricia Maffeo, April Hill, and Delores Ziegler to make up the 2020-21 Marble City Opera board of directors. Upcoming performances include Winterreise, November 6 & 7, 2020; World Premiere of Royal Flush, March 11, 12, & 13, 2021; and Tosca, June 3, 4, & 5, 2021.
