As a founding partner of Keller Williams in Knoxville, Johnnie Creel has had a long and fulfilling career in real estate. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she has also served as an investigator and auditor for Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

Creel credits her success in real estate to her clients who believe in her. In return, she gives all of herself to help make their dreams come true.

“Knowledge, energy and exceptional negotiation skills and love of my clients has allowed me to serve my clients,” she said. “I had to work to pay for college and extras.

Real estate has allowed me to be somewhat flexible and serve people, which is what I love, for 29 years!” Creel has been a Premier Partner for a number of years and previously served on the board of directors for the Knoxville Association of Realtors. Currently, she serves
on its Governmental Affairs committee. She said she feels grateful to have Lyle Irish heading their board; he masterminded the construction of Knoxville’s Board of Realtors building, which won an Orchid Award.

Creel has interesting family heritage. Her husband is a professor emeritus in modern foreign language for the University of Tennessee. Her sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Martin Bouygues, live in Paris, France. Martin owns a multinational corporation, Bouygues
International.

“My sister was a Parisian model and has lived in Paris for almost 40 years,” she said. “Some of (Martin’s) building projects include Chunnell Charles de Gaulle II, Grand Mosque Casablanca, Musee D’Orsey, University of Riyadh, La Seine Musicale, The Paris Law Courts, Qatar Petroleum District, Zoology Park Paris, Port of Miami Tunnel, Brickell City Center Miami and Twin Towers Hong Kong.”

Creel’s genuine and sincere personality make her a fabulous fit in the real estate industry. Her
expertise in the field leads her to believe Knoxville’s greatest challenge is to grow with industry, create jobs and still maintain its character and volunteer spirit that make it a great place to live.

“My favorite kind of client recognizes that I have their best interest at heart and allows my team
and me to represent them professionally and with heart,” she concluded.
