The Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians’ Business Bosses Supporting Cookie Bosses program provided local businesses an easy way to support the community’s youngest entrepreneurs. Through the program, several businesses and organizations, such as WonderWorks, Cruz Farms, UScellular, Hillcrest Healthcare, The Trust Company of Tennessee, Moxley Carmichael and Leadership Knoxville, purchased Girl Scout cookies in bulk. 117 local businesses hosted cookie booths at 244 locations through the program, with a number of the booths providing a drive-through option for the community.

Traditionally, Food City is one of the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians’ biggest business supporters with cookie booths at every location in Knoxville. When the grocery store chain was unable to host cookie booths due to the pandemic, it created and distributed a coupon flyer to customers to help support Cookie Bosses.
