Hello and welcome to the 98th annual Tennessee Valley Fair running September 8th-17th, 2017! The Tennessee Valley Fair is a non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing East Tennessee heritage, agriculture and the arts. Highlighting the very best of our region has been our focus for nearly 100 years and we are proud to be one of Knoxville’s largest and longest running events.
This year, we will be delighted to host over 150,000 guests here at Historic Chilhowee Park during our 10 day event. Fair-goers can enjoy everything from the tractor pull to concerts to daily shows. For the past 8 years, the Fair has highlighted different aspects on what makes the Fair such a special place. Once again, this year’s highlight will focus on Agriculture with “Farm Fresh Fun.” From our humble beginnings in the early 20th century, agriculture has played a vital role
in East Tennessee back then and still does today. Don’t miss out on The Farmer Phil Show, livestock shows, Down on the Farm, Ag-Venture Scavenger Hunt, contests and competitions including the Giant Growing Contest where vegetables have a shot at being in the Guinness World Records, and much more.
Whether you’ve been to the Tennessee Valley Fair your whole life or if you’re a first-timer, bring family, friends, and yourself to make memories that will last a lifetime. We hope you enjoy some “Farm Fresh Fun!”
