St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral will welcome internationally renowned organist Scott Dettra for a free performance of moving pieces from classical composers including Bach, Mozart, Franck and Widor. Everyone is invited to celebrate the dedication of the cathedral’s Goulding & Wood Opus 52 pipe organ. The one-of-a-kind instrument was installed before COVID-19 caused a wave of worship service cancellations. Now, the congregation is eager to share the renewing spirit of music with the community inside its beautiful downtown Knoxville cathedral.
