For over 39 years, the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame has celebrated sports with some of the area’s finest athletes. Each year, ten local individuals are inducted into the Hall of Fame for their achievements in athletics, media, coaching, sports administration, and officiating. Other honorees include Knoxville’s Most Outstanding Male and Female High School Athletes of the Year, the Chad Pennington Professional Athlete of the Year, the Pat Summitt Ignite Greatness Award, Special Recognition, Will McKamey Spirit Award and the Buck Vaughn Legacy Award.
