You are invited to History in a Bottle, a bourbon-centric dinner and auction benefiting Historic Ramsey House!
The historic evening begins at 7:00 p.m. at Boyd’s Jig & Reel in the Old City, where you will be welcomed with a glass of Boyd’s Buie, a house-made Drambuie, and an appetizer buffet featuring Scotch eggs. Two bourbons, Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace, accompany the next courses, both introduced by Boyd’s Jig & Reel’s whiskey expert and paired alongside a buffet of fish and chips, roasted pork, grilled chicken, succulent sides, and a decadent dessert.
The crowning moment of the evening will be your chance to bid on a history-making bottle of Buffalo Trace. Ramsey House is the recipient of the 73rd bottle out of 400 drawn from Buffalo Trace’s 6,000,000th barrel, and only ticket holders to “History in a Bottle” will be allowed to bid on this rare bourbon. All proceeds from the dinner and auction support Historic Ramsey House and its educational mission!The evening concludes with Tennessee’s premier traditional Irish band, Four Leaf Peat, taking the Boyd’s Jig and Reel stage!
