PEOPLE OF COURAGE

May 8, 2018

Luncheon.

Positively Living is proud to be hosting Scott Fried, international award-winning speaker, youth educator, and HIV/AIDS advocate. Fried’s work is based on a core belief that one must understand the value of one’s own life and hold it sacred in order to refrain from dangerous behaviors that could lead to HIV infection and other crises. When he speaks, he shares his own life story of contracting and dealing with HIV. Fried is the author of three books and has been published in numerous periodicals and newspapers.  He is an adjunct professor at Colby College and lives in New York City.

At the luncheon, Positively Living will also present the fifth annual Julia Tucker Award to the Hope Center and the second annual Robert Braddock Survivor Award to Rhonda Daies.
