LIZ MANDEVILLE & THE BLUE POINTS

November 7, 2019

Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Artist and winner of the Windy City Blues Challenge, Liz Mandeville has a powerhouse voice and great songs (original & covers). She's a wiz on guitar & Louisiana Rub-board! Liz has Etta James' versatility, Tina Turner's showmanship, Bette Midler's vintage look and humor and Aretha's big, soulful alto. Her guitar playing borrows from Albert Collins, Hubert Sumlin, Lightnin Hopkins and Billy Gibbons. All of Liz's music feature her warmth and wit and are crafted from her personal experiences as much as from research into different eras and regional blues from the last century. A diminutive redhead, she grew up on a two-lane highway on the outskirts of Chicago in a haunted house. She brings to the stage a giant presence that's impossible to resist.. She and her band will get you up & dancing. These blues make you happy!
