LEGACY LUNCHEON FOR THE PARKS

September 27, 2019

Mark your calendars for the annual Legacy Luncheon for the Parks on Friday, September 27 at 11:30am at Johnson University along the beautiful French Broad River.

David McClain - a National Geographic adventurer and a member of the Blue Zone exploration team, will join us as our guest speaker and share his stories of traveling the globe to uncover the secrets of a long and happy life. Documenting the Blue Zones – the five places in the world where you are most likely to live past 100 years – gives McClain unique insight into the secrets of longevity. McClain's photographs have appeared in National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, and National Geographic Adventure, as well as Men's Journal, Sports Illustrated, Skiing, Wine Spectator and Fortune.

The Luncheon is the annual fundraising event for Legacy Parks and draws 1,000 civic, business, and community leaders.
