Join us for an engaging seminar about one of the Southeast’s most beloved wildflowers, Trillums!

Jayne Lampley received her M.S. degree in Biology at Jacksonville State University and is currently working on her doctoral dissertation in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She studies the systematics and taxonomy of Trilliums. Join us at the Knoxville Botanical Garden on July 11th as she gives an introduction to this unique genus including its geographic distribution, diversity of species, life cycle, and ethnobotanical usage. She will then inform us of some of her latest research efforts including her work to describe newly discovered Trillium species.
