This will be a taste of the music that occurs from a steel pan orchestra, 55-gallon oil barrels turned into instruments, originating from Trinidad and Tobago. A once-in-a-lifetime mass steel band formed from Appalachian State University, Eastern Kentucky University, and University of Tennessee, Knoxville will join forces for a night of energizing fun and excitement in celebration of Carnival, the Mardi Gras equivalent in the Caribbeans.
