GO! will premier an in depth contemporary ballet, Jehanne...the story of Joan of Arc. A large collaborative project of six choreographers, fifty five dancers, and a talented team of costume and set designers, the old world of the 1400's will be revealed to tell the story of this French heroine, an illiterate peasant girl who in 15 months changed the history of Western Europe and became the mostly widely known of medieval women. Called a saint, a heretic and a "diamond among pebbles", Joan's origins, visions, battles and trials will be presented in a stunning and thought provoking labyrinth of music, choreography, set and costume design.
