CLARENCE BROWN THEATRE PRESENTS - URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL

April 20, 2018

Clarence Brown Theatre presents - Urinetown, The Musical.

Featuring Knoxville’s own John Cullum when it ran on Broadway and won three Tony Awards.
A water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. Citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission. Deciding he has had enough, a hero plans a revolution! It’s a musical satire of capitalism, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, politics, greed and the musical theater.

Located at Clarence Brown Theatre

Friday, April 20 - 7:30-10pm
