Holiday Dance Party!
With Devan Jones and the Uptown Stomp. East Tennessee native, Devan Jones, formed The Uptown Stomp in 2013. The 6-piece unit, with him on guitar and vocals, played a very swingin’ mix of vintage jazz and 1950s Chicago blues and grew rapidly in popularity right up until Devan left town in 2015 to seek his fortune in Austin, where he has assembled an Austin edition of The Stomp with similar instrumentation. We’re happy to have him back and reunited with the Knoxville edition: Hunter Deacon on drums, Clint Mullican on upright bass, Chuck Mullican on tenor/baritone sax, Joe Jordon on trumpet, and Matt Coker on piano and Hammond B-3 organ.
