Keep Knoxville Beautiful Hosted East Knoxville Community Cleanup

Dogwood Arts – Arts In Public Places

Dogwood Arts installed the new Art In Public Places Sculpture Exhibition. The program has grown tremendously in the past year (expanding from 19 sculptures in the 2021-2022 exhibition to 31) with the addition of three new placement sites––including Emory Place in North Knoxville, the Student Union at the University of Tennessee, and the Maker Exchange at World’s Fair Park.

Weigel's Stores Donation to Joy of Music School

Weigel’s Stores, Inc. donated twelve brand-new violins to the Joy of Music School. Former piano instructor and current Weigel’s employee, Greg Adkins, recommended the School receive a donation from the convenience store chain. Weigel’s purchased the violins from Wilhite Strings in Knoxville and presented them to the Joy of Music School.
