Summer Swing

Story and photography by Megan Venable

The Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Knoxville was the setting of the 2018 Ladies of Charity’s Summer Swing. Guests at the event had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and social hour before dinner as well as take advantage of a professional dancer on hand for the occasion to teach attendees how to swing dance for the cause. Funds raised through the Summer Swing will support the Ladies of Charity’s mission to provide emergency assistance to those in need.
