Fall is here!  Knoxville is buzzing as the Vols have begun another football season and expectations remain high. There is no doubt, Knoxville is more fun when the Vols are playing well. The month of September has the Vols hosting three home games which will do a lot to determine the fate of the season.

In addition to football, fall also brings the annual fall fashion feature in VIP.  The focus on fashion remains important, whether you find yourself at a black-tie event, out with your friends or a tailgate on gameday.  We have some of Knoxville’s best boutiques participating this year with something for everyone.

We are honored to have Vol legend Heath Shuler and his wife, Nikol as this month’s profile.  Knoxville is extremely happy to have the Shuler’s back in Knoxville and the UT legacy continues with son, Navy playing for the Vol football team and daughter, Island on the UT dance team.  The children of Heath and Nikol are the sixth and seventh Shuler’s to run through the T.  The Shuler name is one that Knoxville knows well and it just seems right that Heath and Nikol are once again making it their home.

The core content of VIP remains the events and charities that make Knoxville the special place it is to live.  This month’s issue features 25 events across all of Knoxville. Knoxville is a very philanthropic community and the charities featured each month through these events are doing great things and helping so many across Knoxville and East Tennessee.

We look forward to the upcoming fourth quarter and the final three issues of 2023.  We will be releasing some new themes and ideas for 2024 soon.  We thank our advertisers and readers for making VIP Knoxville what it is!
