If we needed a reminder of the season that is upon us, mother nature provided it with the return of cold weather! There is no greater time in East Tennessee than fall with the beautiful colors that welcome thousands of visitors to the mountains, but we now transition into the holiday season. We hope that you have plans to spend plenty of time with family over Thanksgiving, and as you turn your attention to holiday shopping, you will support the local businesses that advertise with VIP.

Our VIP Profile this month is Peyton Baxter. Her story epitomizes the new-age entrepreneurial spirit and the many ways you can become an influencer in today’s world. We once again highlight
27 events across Knoxville that continue to raise money for the many great causes and organizations doing good in Knoxville.

We annually do a feature on Clinton, which sits just outside of Knox County, but remains a gem
in East Tennessee. Clinton is the essence of a small town, but also a historic one and the feature this month highlights the Historic Downtown Clinton non-profit. In addition, the youth have joined in the preservation and revitalization efforts with highschoolers from Clinton High School starting the first Historic Downtown Clinton Youth board. We also highlight the upcoming Christmas events being held in Clinton.

Our loyal readers are what make VIP Knoxville what it is in the community and provide our advertisers with an attentive local audience. Our mission remains to highlight the many good works in and around Knoxville. We appreciate the support of our advertisers that make that possible.

We look forward to our upcoming holiday gift guide in the December/January issue, as well as our popular New Year – New You special where readers can read about and learn of the many products and services in Knoxville centered around New Year’s resolutions in health, home, fashion and finances.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
