Portrait of Judge Reeves Unveiled



The official portrait of Judge Pamela L. Reeves, who passed away last year from cancer, was unveiled at a dedication of a memorial garden in her honor. Appointed by President Obama to serve as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee in 2013, she was the first woman District Judge along with the first woman to serve as Chief District Judge in our federal judicial district. In addition, she was the first woman chair of the Knox County Election Commission and the American Association of Mediators.
