Story and photography by Megan Venable

The Dogwood Arts Office on Jackson Avenue in the Old City was abuzz with the holiday spirit with artists, volunteers, sponsors, family and friends gathered to celebrate the season. Held as a way to say “thank you” to their patrons, the annual holiday celebration, themed this year “Oh What Fun!,” is also a tribute to another year chock full of Dogwood Arts activities, such as Art in Public Places, the House and Garden Show and Bazillion Blooms. The mission of Dogwood Arts is to promote and celebrate the art, culture and natural beauty of East Tennessee.
