Supporters of ending hunger in East Tennessee gathered at Jackson Terminal to learn more about Second Harvest and ways in which volunteers can help the organization achieve No Empty Plates in our region. Attendees were greeted at the door and given a lanyard that listed either a client need or description of one of their many programs. They were encouraged to meet new people by matching up needs with assistance. All attendees enjoyed a cocktail buffet and learning more about Second Harvest. Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, a member of Feeding America, has worked to compassionately to feed people facing hunger since 1982.
