MW Events Opens



MW Events is Knoxville’s newest full service, luxury party planning service. The company was founded by Julie McKnight and Rachael Wofford in 2020 in hopes to bring a fresh, creative take to East Tennessee’s wedding and party scene. Rachael and Julie aim to create opportunities for safe gatherings for friends and families during this COVID-19 season of life. Specializing in upscale boutique picnics, MW Events creates unique and memorable experiences for bridal and baby showers, birthdays, engagements, weddings and everything in between. Inspired by fashion, the Smoky Mountains and friendship, Julie and Rachael are passionate about styling and creating to make a client’s wildest vision become reality.

The 200 attendees entered the building and were warmly greeted and encouraged to visit the silent auction.
