This stunning lakeside retreat on the banks of Fort Loudon Lake, complete with dock access is home to a local couple and their beloved Lagotto Romagnolo, Enzo. His name is a tribute to one of their favorite countries to visit, Italy. Their love for the European country can be felt throughout the home complete with furnishings and art curated from around the world. The home offers plenty of space for gatherings and opportunities for Enzo to explore.

The family has lived in Knoxville for nearly seven years, and in their current home for almost four. Although they were apprehensive about moving to Knoxville, they say they were embraced like family from the very first week and haven’t looked back since. They quickly forged friendships and developed a love for East Tennessee and the volunteer spirit.

“We initially toured the home with the hopes of purchasing a rental property,” the homeowner says, “but, with minimal upkeep, we simply could enjoy the view. I love that we can lock the door and walk away when we want to,” she says about the ease of their landscaping. “We
don’t have to worry about taking care of it.”

The attention to detail in their décor is striking as there is no space unadorned with their treasures. “We collect from everywhere we go for the last 30-plus years, so it looks pretty eclectic,” the homeowner says. “A lot of what we have comes from artists and schools around the world.”
