The Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service (SCHAS) 31st annual Knoxville Award Luncheon was held at the Knoxville Convention Center. SCHAS is a non-profit committed to improving the lives of the elderly and disabled by providing exceptional care that allows seniors to remain comfortably and independently in their own homes. Each year, SCHAS holds this special award luncheon to surprise and recognize an outstanding person who demonstrates great care for our community and citizens. This year’s event recognized the 2024 Knoxville Award Honoree as Bo Shafer. The event also featured speakers, Andy Shafer and Heidi Shuler, Emcee Don Dare of WATE. The invocation was given by Bryan Wilson of Grace Knox.
