Story and photography by Megan Venable

The Knox Rox concert, held at 865 Axe Throwing, featured the debut performance of Lavonda & The 865 Bandits. Attendees were invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy music, food trucks and corn hole and, for the more adventurous, coached axe throwing at one of several lanes dedicated for that purpose. The benefit concert, which will be an annual event, was held to support Alzheimer’s Tennessee and Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation.
