The Knoxville Museum of Art presented the annual East Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition at the museum featuring artwork created by East Tennessee middle and highschool students. This competition provides the opportunity for students to participate in a juried exhibition and to have their artwork displayed in a professional art museum environment. The Best-in-Show winner receives a Purchase Award, and the artwork becomes a permanent part of the collection of Mr. James Dodson, on loan to the Knoxville Museum Art’s Education Collection along with scholarship awards in each of the 10 Categories.
