The Knoxville Academy of Medical Alliance held its annual Doc Rock at the Concourse in downtown Knoxville. This “battle of the bands,” now in its 15th year, is a friendly competition between groups of physicians who enjoy playing music on the side. Groups played to raise funds for their local charity of choice with Whiskey Compass ultimately voted crowd favorite and funds raised going toward East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. KAMA’s mission is to promote health initiatives and support to physician families in the area.
