Story and photography by Marcy Anderson Sanford

Artsclamation! is a fine art sale that benefits the patients and families of Peninsula, the behavioral health division of Parkwest Medical Center. The preview party gave attendees a first glimpse of and chance to purchase the art in the juried show. The annual fundraiser presented a variety of artworks ranging from paintings to pottery and jewelry to mixed media. Items showcased the talents of dozens of regional artists including featured artists Bill Cook, Jr., a sculptor, and Marisa Ray, an acrylic painter. Funds generated through the 2024 Artsclamation! fine art sale will support behavioral services at Peninsula Hospital and Peninsula Outpatient Clinics. Peninsula has helped thousands of people recover from disorders and dependencies to lead healthy, productive lives. Peninsula provides inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults in Knox and nearby counties, including individual and group therapy, specialized programs and peer support groups.
