Premier Surgery Center Earns QUAD A Accreditation

Premier Surgery Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, is proud to announce the successful completion of its accreditation process from QUAD A, a global accreditation authority.

By earning accreditation, Premier Surgery Center has demonstrated it meets all of the rigorous patient safety standards set by QUAD A’s accreditation program. QUAD A’s thorough processes, expert surveyors and consultative approach make them a leading accreditation program for outpatient healthcare facilities.

“At Premier Surgery Center, our surgeons and staff are committed to ensuring patient safety,” says Premier Chief Executive Officer, Jay Rom. “We’re proud to once again receive accreditation from QUAD A and look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.”

QUAD A is a nonprofit physician-led accreditation organization that works with thousands of outpatient facilities to help standardize and improve the quality of healthcare they provide. Accreditation signifies a commitment to patient safety and high-quality that goes beyond minimum standards. This is Premier Surgery Center’s second, three-year QUAD A accreditation.

QUAD A Chief Executive Officer Tom Terranova says accreditation assures the public that extra steps have been taken to promote patient safety. “Accreditation is an essential credential for almost every healthcare facility in this country, if not all,” says QUAD A’s CEO, Tom Terranova.
