MICHAEL BAER NAMED HONORARY CHAIR OF 2025 NAMIWALKS KNOXVILLE

NAMI Knoxville, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is proud to announce that Michael Baer has been named Honorary Chair of NAMIWalks Knoxville 2025, to be held in Market Square this fall. As a dedicated community leader and advocate for mental health, Baer brings his passion for service, philanthropy and outreach to this year’s signature fundraising and

awareness event.

Michael is the Chief People and Compliance Officer at K&P Remodeling, a premier nationally recognized kitchen remodeling company that operates in numerous states and is headquartered in Knoxville. The walk will raise critical funds to support free, life-changing programs including peer and family support groups, educational classes, crisis intervention training and local advocacy efforts. “Mental health impacts every one of us, whether directly or through someone we love,” said Baer. “I’m honored to serve as Chair of this walk and to stand alongside the countless individuals and families NAMI helps every day. Even a $1 donation can create a ripple of change, and 100% of what’s raised stays right here in our community.”

NAMIWalks Knoxville brings together hundreds of participants each year to fight stigma, raise awareness and celebrate hope and recovery. The event is part of a national movement to transform the way America understands and treats mental illness.
