VETERENS RECEPTION AND A DAY OF INFAMY PRESENTATION

A reception for veterans will precede a presentation about the events leading up to World War II on Monday, Dec. 3, at Farragut Town Hall. Veterans can enjoy light refreshments and tour the Farragut Museum. The Day of Infamy presentation begins at 7 p.m.

Frank Galbraith, retired Farragut Middle School history teacher, discusses the end of World War I, the roaring '20s, organized crime, the Great Depression, Hitler coming to power and the attack on Pearl Harbor. WWII veterans will be present to answer any questions.

All veterans, especially WWII veterans, are encouraged to participate in this special evening. The presentation is free, and no registration is required.
