In just a few short years, Brooklyn, New Yorker turned Tennessean, Jazz/Blues/Soul vocalist, Jeanine Fuller, has taken Knoxville and the surrounding area by storm. Jeanine has performed several times at AA5 with different groups, including the “Women in Jazz Jam Festival” and last year’s “Alive After Five 25th Anniversary Show.” Since then, she has formed a new band, The True Funk Souldiers, featuring Sam Adams on keyboards, Marcel Holman on saxophone, Brandon Whitaker on guitar, Tre Harris on drums, and A. P. Hardaway on bass. As if that were not enough, Jeanine plans to bring some additional musicians to help make this show even more special.
