Please save the date for Thursday, September 16 for the 3rd Annual Seeds of Imagination Luncheon, benefitting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Knox County. Join the Stowers Family in presenting the Seeds of Literacy Award to this year's honorees, the nurses of the Childbirth Center at Parkwest Medical Center, for their exceptional contribution to early literacy in Knox County. Enjoy a silent auction, live music, and luncheon at the elegant Cherokee Country Club. In Knox County, it costs over $500,000 each year to cover the cost of books and mailing for more than 19,000 children ages birth to five who receive books monthly. While our numbers attest to Imagination Library’s success, this also means that we need continued funding to ensure that every child registered will receive one new, age-appropriate book each month.
