Arts and City Placemaking
The East Tennessee Community Design Center will host “Arts and City Placemaking,” a multi-faceted approach to planning, design and management of public spaces. Liza Zenni, executive director of Arts & Culture Alliance, will speak on “Re-imaging the City through Culturally Significant Art and Murals.” Eric Asboe from the Chattanooga Department of Transportation will talk about “Creative Placemaking Through Art.” Josiah Golson, resident artist, 800 Collective in Chattanooga will look at “Using Art and Placemaking to Raise up a Neighborhood.”
