The Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont will hold a “Discover” benefit luncheon at River Terrace at Lakeshore Park in Knoxville. The guest speaker will be Milton Chen, Ph.D., who on his 50th birthday was named a Jedi Master by George Lucas. He is senior fellow and executive director emeritus at The George Lucas Educational Foundation (GLEF), a nonprofit that develops innovative K-12 learning.

Give a child the life-changing experience of living and learning in Great Smoky Mountains National Park by joining us at “Discover.” A luncheon to celebrate Tremont Institute and the education programs and experiences that have inspired thousands of children and adults since 1969. Join us for a summer afternoon along the Tennessee River with spectacular views of the Smokies.
